Formed in 2014, Cleveland-based MagneticWest is a trio working on the fringes of improvised avant-rock. Their self-titled debut captures not only their angular edge, but also reveals moments of psychedelic art-pop, free jazz, noise/textural explorations, and ambient music, among other influences.
